Raised in Saskatchewan, Matthew obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alberta. While attending law school, Matthew participated in the Student Legal Services Clinic and provided legal services to low-income citizens.

After graduating, he articled in a general practice firm focusing on real estate, family law and incapacity planning. Matthew successfully represented clients in the Provincial and Superior Courts of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Matthew moved to British Columbia to be closer to his family on the coast.

Matthew practices in the areas of litigation, assisting clients in the areas of creditor’s remedies, family law, and civil litigation. A significant portion of Matthew’s practice involved ICBC claim related motor vehicle accidents.
