Lisa was born in Newfoundland and spent the majority of her childhood in Atlantic Canada, until 1998 when she relocated to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria. Lisa completed her B.A. in Political Science at UVIC and obtained a law degree from the University of British Columbia.Following graduation from law school, Lisa completed her articles with McConnan Bion O’Connor & Peterson and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2007. Lisa is currently a solicitor with McConnan Bion O’Connor & Peterson and is building a corporate commercial practice. Lisa also has experience appearing before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys swimming and surfing and is an active member of the Naval Reserveserving as the Administration Officer for 263 RCSCC BEACON HILL, a local sea cadet unit.
